Mahdi is a tech & legal talent acquisition expert with a solid technical background and an extensive track record of filling the most challenging technical roles, helping companies scale and build-out entire tech teams with lightning speed.

Mahdi started his career as a software development engineer at Amazon, working on the Amazon Prime Video streaming service. He has a Computer Science degree from The University of Sheffield, where he graduated with First Class Honors. After founding his first company, a 3D printing disruptor, he found his true passion in tech recruiting.

He quickly climbed to Managing Director at one of the leading talent solutions and consulting firms and built and led strategic partnerships at a prominent B2B Fintech startup, helping the company grow to over $1 Billion in revenue.

Yanet is a full-cycle recruiter with over four years of experience building and scaling teams across healthcare, nonprofit, and mission-driven organizations. She partners closely with hiring leaders to understand the “why” behind each role, allowing her to deliver candidates who are not only qualified, but truly aligned with the team and its mission.

Her background spans university recruiting, operations hiring, and program development, where she has led end-to-end hiring processes, built strong talent pipelines, and improved recruiting workflows. Khumar is a lawyer with a background in international arbitration, commercial law, and regulatory compliance. Before joining Crew Connectors, she worked at KPMG, Ernst & Young, and the AIFC International Arbitration Centre, handling cross-border legal matters involving tax, risk, and dispute resolution. She also advised startups on corporate compliance and business formation at the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic at American University.

At Crew, Khumar supports attorney recruiting and oversees legal operations, helping law firms and in-house legal departments across the U.S. hire top talent and maintain strong legal infrastructure.

She holds an LL.M. in International Arbitration and Business Law from American University and is fluent in Azerbaijani, English, and Turkish, with working proficiency in French and Russian.

Mr Augie

Director of Unplanned Operations
Auggie is responsible for ensuring that nothing at Crew runs too smoothly for too long. He specializes in surprise audits, rapid-response interruptions, and inserting himself into any situation that does not involve him.

He maintains a strong presence across all functions, with a particular focus on monitoring activity, investigating anything that looks remotely interesting (or moves fast!), and escalating minor issues into full-scale events. His work is fast, unpredictable, and rarely approved in advance.

Auggie is known for his persistence, selective listening, and ability to appear exactly where he is not needed. He operates independently, ignores most direction, and remains one of the most active members of the team.
